All our shutters use steel hidden hinges this gives a lovely flush finish with minimal light ingress. I supply UK made shutters made by Thomas Sanderson with just 4/5 week lead time.
MDF PLUS wooden shutters. Taditional painted shutter in a range of 25 colours . The plus refers to the special Louvres are made from the same material as a motor bike helmet so very hard wearing.
Waterberry ( satin vinyl)
UK made in Thomas Sanderson factory. Satin Vinyl that looks like wood shutters. Suitable for areas with high moisture content. AvaIlable in White, Ivory and Vanilla
Burley ( hardwood}
Premium hardwood shutters are the best wooden shutters you can buy. Can be made as louvre shutters or solid door too. These can be painted or stained too.
SHUTTERS STYLES
Various styles are available to suit most windows. Shutters are basically a frame filled either with louvres or with a solid panel. Often hinged together to cover larger windows, they can be folded back away from the window, or the louvres can be opened or closed. Our shutters are available in Hardwood, MDF and Satin Vinyl options, dependent on the style, and in a large range of colours.
A traditional shutter witll have a frame around the outside and several panels these can bi fold if needed. The louves can be split at sections for added privacy or add a mid rail to reflect the same as the window. See more examples in gallery
Tier on tier shutter
This works well often in larger windows and often a sash looks good with this treatment. It means you are able to open the top or bottom independently back as in the photo. See more examples in gallery
Cafe style
Often a shutter just covering just the bottom section of the window. This works well if you just want privacy at the bottom section of your window. Also its a good option if you have decorative stain glass at the top of your window that you dont want to cover up. See more customers examples in my gallery
Guided shutter
If a shutter is very large or across doorways, we use a guided shutter this means it is easy to move as the name suggested its guided to carry the heavier weight. Some ranges can have 3 sided frame so you don’t have a rail on the bottom. This is very handy in doorways you dont want a trip hazard. See more customers examples in my gallery
Shaped shutters & gable
Used for shaped windows and gable ends. Shutters provide a very neat solution to a difficult problem. Fabulous way of filtering the light and in gables the bottom sectiion can be guided and fold back. See more customers examples in my gallery
